Primary Election August 4th, 2020

Hello Everyone,

My name is Karen Stuppy and I am a lifelong resident of Ste. Genevieve –born and raised. I have raised my two children, Samantha and Lee, in Ste. Genevieve with my husband Scott. I have always held Ste. Genevieve close to my heart and I personally can't imagine living anywhere else.

I am running for Ste. Genevieve County Commissioner in District 1 to help our community, and represent the interests of the people of our county. It’s my goal to make Ste. Genevieve an even better place to live for everyone.

I have over a decade of experience working for the Ste. Genevieve County Clerk's office, which has given me knowledge and expertise that makes me well qualified for this position. I have experience working with county budgets, accounts payable, board of equalization processes, election processes, and many day to day responsibilities of making our county government work.

As county commissioner I aim to:

1. Improve the infrastructure in Ste. Genevieve County

2. Preserve our vibrant and culturally significant historic district

3. Bring more industry, jobs, retail stores, and recreational venues to our community

I would truly appreciate your vote in the primary election on August 4th, 2020. Let me go to work for you and let's see what I can do for the residents of Ste. Genevieve County.

Karen Stuppy,

Candidate for Ste. Genevieve County Commissioner 1st District
